(More customer reviews)I called DirecTV and was told that I am not buying this unit. All units are sent to dealers as a lease item. If I ever disconnect, I would still be required to box it up and ship it back. If I want to buy a receiver, it can only be done through DirecTV and it would cost $499. So please be aware you are NOT buying this item. Plus it would cost $6 extra per month (which I am okay with)and I would have to start a new two year agreement. For example, if you are at a year and a half, you would be stuck for another two years. So, cost of about $95 plus $6 a month for 24 months, total cost $239 and you don't even own the receiver and have to ship it back if you disconnect service.
