(More customer reviews)I'm really surprised at the reviews so far indicating that Amazon billed others prior to shipment. It's never happened to me, and it didn't happen with this purchase, either. Even though I did have to wait a couple of months to get it, Amazon didn't charge my credit card until it was ready to ship. I have absolutely NO concerns about Amazon stealing my money, and in the very few cases where a third party failed to deliver an item, Amazon promptly issued a refund to me. It is a very trustworthy internet store.
I wasn't too upset about the delay in delivery since this is an extra length cable, and a new item.
All of that aside, I'm not having much success using the cable for HDMI with my Motorola Droid X. It partially worked for me right after I got it (video, but no audio), but a week later, I can't get the phone and the TV to even pair up on the HDMI port.
UPDATE: Since my review, I received a cheaper 6ft HDMI cable from Amazon. It works with no problems - video and sound performed fine, whereas the Amzer cable was still inoperable. I returned it today.
