Simply plug in your hardrive connection to the unit then to your HDTV, and voila, you can play movies from your hardrive ( Korean drama, TV series, etc.. ) Enjoy! He loved it so much that we went out and buy each an R3 ( the current model ) The new R3 model even has more HD memory slots that enable to plug in anytype of memory cards. However, it cannot play GI and ISO format files. Wish they'd design the remote control to be sleekier looking. Think Sony's remote controls. Or small like Bose's
