(More customer reviews)This cable looks like it would work fine. There is one problem, it is not a minifirewire cable. It is a normal firewire cable for use with an Ipod Mini. So if you are looking at getting a cable you can hook up to your Windows laptop with a small firewire port then you need to look elsewhere. If you are looking for a firewire cable for your Ipod with a doc connector, then this should work.
One last note, if you have a modern Ipod you may not be able to use this cable. I have read that they removed firewire charging in newer ipods.
